Kajabi Review – Can I Use My Own Domain Name?

You may have already seen some big internet marketing names like Andy Jenkins, Frank Kern, and Jeff Walker using Kajabi to sell their products. You’ll also notice that some marketers elect to use the Kajabi extensions when setting up a url such as…

While other users appear to have a unique url (without the “Kajabi” extension).

The fact of the matter is that Kajabi makes it easy to use your own custom domain name.  It takes these three steps:

1.  You will need to add some DNS records to your DNS hosting service. This indicates where gets directed (ie: yourdomain.com).

2.  You will need to add a CNAME record. This points the “www” of your domain to the specific Kajabi project.

3.  On your dashboard indicate your subdomain and your custom domain and then email the support desk. They will activate it and let you know it is up and running.

If all this sounds too complex, not to worry. It is a pretty straight forward process and common with most DNS providers (in other words you won’t have to hunt around forever to find out what to do – it is all laid out for you).

I think that the little extra time it takes to set up is well worth it. Which domain do you want your clients to see?
